American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of vascular experience for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma acute care hospital in Florida.

Work in a 4-room Interventional Radiology unit — 3 rooms equipped with biplane imaging (3 Siemens, 1 GE)
-
Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations)

Daily caseload of 20–30 cases per tech

4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Weekend work required, with one Saturday per month

On-call required approximately 8–10 days per month depending on staffing; call requires a 30-minute response time to arrive at the hospital, and on-call sleep rooms are available

Cerner EMR preferred
-
May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs; no float to sister facilities required

Local candidates are accepted

Minimum 1 year of IR tech experience with vascular experience required

Experience required in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy

Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies required

Current BLS and ARRT certifications required

Florida state license required (license required if applicable)
