We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join a fast-paced food manufacturing and distribution facility in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have experience managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials are available to support daily production and warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Coordinate inventory movements between warehouse and production.
- Generate inventory reports and maintain documentation.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow company policies, food safety standards, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous inventory control or inventory specialist experience required.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required; Creole is a strong plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
