We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team for structural and industrial projects. This position involves erecting, aligning, bolting, and welding structural steel components in commercial and heavy industrial environments.
This is not entry-level. We are looking for professionals who are comfortable at heights, can read prints, and know how to move steel safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Erect and install structural steel beams, columns, and supports
- Bolt-up, torque, and align steel components
- Perform rigging and signaling for crane operations
- Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings
- Connect steel members using bolts, welds, or rivets
- Install metal decking and miscellaneous metals
- Perform field measurements and layout
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety standards
- Work at Heights and in industrial environments
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with bolt-up, connecting, and rigging
- Comfortable working at heights
- Familiar with fall protection systems
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety
- Ability to pass drug screen and background
- TWIC card (if required)
Preferred:
- Stick welding (SMAW) experience
- FCAW experience
- NCCER Ironworker certification
- Experience in mills, shipyards, or plant environments
- Crane signaling certification
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 50+lbs regularly
- Climb ladders and work from lifts or scaffolding
- Stand for extended periods
- Work in heat, cold, and outdoor conditions
