American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother/Baby unit in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Oklahoma or compact RN licensure.

Day shift schedule, 4x12s (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

13-week contract

Weekends required as needed by the facility

Active RN license in Oklahoma or valid compact RN license required

Required certifications: BLS and NRP

Minimum 2 years of Mother/Baby or L&D nursing experience

At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty

Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)

No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
-
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Mother/Baby patients
-
Coordinates care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality
-
Scrub color: black

Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted but must be made up within the assignment
-
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
-
Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled

Facility has earned a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of 'A'
