Job Summary:
The construction Laborer will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of workers on the construction site.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Operate small equipment such as tampers, compactors, or saws when necessary
- Assist equipment operators and other skilled workers by providing labor support
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including proper storage of tools and materials
- Follow all OSHA, MSHA, and company safety regulations and use required PPE at all times
- Work as part of a crew, taking direction from supervisors and foremen
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient and accurate work completion
- May operate construction equipment if qualified and authorized
- Direct traffic near, in, or around work zones.
- Clean jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by superintendent/foreman.
