American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience.

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department with a psychiatric holding area
-
Float required between two campuses (Leominster and Clinton)
-
Patient ratio is 1:5
-
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Scheduling is based on unit needs; block schedules cannot be accommodated
-
Must have flexibility to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled shift start time based on critical department need

No on-call requirements

Epic EMR used
-
Permanent MA RN license required
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
-
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG test

Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Well-rounded ED nursing skills are expected given the varied patient population, including patients in a psychiatric holding area

RTO requests in July will not be approved for more than 1–2 days

Nurses with prior disciplinary history on their RN license are not eligible for this position
