Responsiblities and requirements include but are not limited to:
Responsible for implementation and adherence to specific Federal, State and Company sanitation guidelines
Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products
Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars
This position supervises kitchen staff
Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned
Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service
Interviews, hires, and trains associates
Maintains excellent relationships with clients other departments within the community
Develops merchandising and marketing strategies and tactics that will increase sales and margin for the Food Service Department
