Job Summary:
We are seeking highly self-driven and money motivated Entry Level Account Managers individuals to join our team. An Account Manager's main job is to help truck drivers find the work they want by getting to know them, their needs, and their endorsements, and then contact our active clients to find relevant work for your drivers. Account Managers should also foster good relationships with our clients as flourishing those relationships often results in more/better opportunities for your drivers. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation and logistics operations of our company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient deployment of drivers to their desired jobs. It is also an Account Manager's job to find more jobs for our drivers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of related sales experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit and type at a computer terminal for long periods of time including an entire working day
Essential Functions:
- Maximizes and supports the number of drivers working
- Finds opportunities for our drivers by reaching out to companies that may need our services
- Maintains relationships with clients to support their need for Class A CDL drivers and inquires about more opportunities to partner with the company
- Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and assignments of Class A CDL drivers; identifies driver preferences and needs; maintains appropriate relationships with drivers to support them in obtaining their preferred jobs
- Maintains communication with drivers and carriers to ensure expectations of all parties are being met; provides constructive feedback to drivers
- Advises carriers and drivers on proper utilization of technology to maximize process efficiency
- Advises drivers and carriers of ongoing and upcoming supply chain issues
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Can handle high a high volume of outgoing emails and phone calls
- Determined and motivated towards results
- Self starter and able to self-manage
- Ability to work independently, within a team, and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to foster and create relationships between driver staff and clients
- Ability to analyze and leverage data to effectively execute plans
This position has both base pay rate as well as commission.
