Sales Associate
Reports To: COO
Status: Full Time
Pay: Salary at $40k plus commission
Job Description:
The main job purpose as a Sales Associate is to create a superior home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
Qualifications:
● General understanding of the retail environment

● Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and organizational information
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays

● Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons
● Subject to criminal background check and drug screening
● Proficient with Google, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Develop expertise in areas such as finance mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen, sales presentation skills and the local market
● Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via
Grandan’s CRM system
● Assist manager by helping select inventory, decorate models and maintain appearance of the homes
● Develop, refine and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic
● Present potential buyers display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added value
● Explaining to customers the best options for their needs
● Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments
● Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functions
● Maintain and build relationships with Grandan Homes manufacturer representatives
● Ability to conduct final customer walk thru and communicate any action points back to service team
● Be willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required
● Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of Grandan Homes
● Recommending related products to increase customers’ options and enrich their experience
● Assist or takes on new tasks to help Grandan Homes achieve its mission
