Metal Fabricator- Sheet Metal
Leading 98-year-old, New York Metal Fabrication Company is seeking a Metal Fabricator
Job Duties:
· Operate fabrication equipment (Power brakes, Shears, Rollers)
· Mark Cutting and bending lines
· Fabricate and assemble parts - general sheet metal and metal plate parts
· Complete assigned jobs according to schedule
· Maintain work area cleanliness and safety
· Report errors or issues to Foreman
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or experience in related field
· Minimum 5 years metal fabrication experience
· Experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings
· Experience with Shearing, Brake Forming, Punching, Rolling, Riveting, Seaming
· Ability to read measuring tools including tape measures and gauges
· Ability to identify materials types
· Use of appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Clothing As Directed)
· Good basic math skills
· Excellent manual dexterity
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds
· Able to work Overtime

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
