GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) Child and Family Therapist is responsible for providing mental health counseling as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Teams will work with youth and families who have complex needs and who are often involved in multiple systems (juvenile justice, child welfare, special education, substance abuse, etc). The Therapist will work with youth and families in their home, school, and communities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Lynnwood, WA and will report to the WISe Clinical Manager. Salary range is $71,864.00 - $84,364.80 per year depending on education level, experience, and licensure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science related field (MA/MS/MSW) OR bachelor’s degree in related field AND minimum one year of direct service work with high risk youth populations
- At least two years of experience working with youth and families
- Current Agency Affiliated, Associate, or Fully Licensed MSW, MFT or MHC professional in Washington State
- Current Washington State Driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within South Snohomish and North King County areas, and willingness to transport youth & families
- Experience working with multiple youth and families’ systems
- Outgoing and able to easily build rapport with at-risk youth
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility in scheduling including early morning and later evening meetings Monday through Friday
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Ability to work in an unstructured and unpredictable setting, ability to adapt to change
- Sense of humor
