Drivers in this position average approximately $70,000–$85,000 per year, including earned bonuses. This is a full-time nighttime linehaul position hauling FedEx Ground freight between terminals. Routes primarily consist of dedicated lanes to Kansas City with drop and hook, no touch freight.

Full-Time Position Details
- Full-time schedule of 5 nights per week
- PM dispatch
- Dedicated lanes to Kansas City
- FedEx terminal to terminal routes
- Drop and hook, no touch freight

Compensation and Bonuses
- Average annual earnings of $70,000–$85,000, including bonuses
- Starting pay of $0.50–$0.52 per mile, based on experience
- Pay increases through the company’s tiered scale, up to $0.56 per mile
- Additional drop and hook pay
- Earn an additional $0.04 per mile weekly performance bonus
- Earn an additional $0.06 per mile quarterly safety bonus
- Average of 2,000+ miles per week
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
- Doubles/Triples endorsement required; assistance with obtaining the endorsement may be available
- Must meet all company and FedEx Ground background requirements
- No preventable accidents in a company vehicle within the past year
- Must meet company Motor Vehicle Record requirements
- Must have a valid DOT medical card
- Must be able to pass all required drug screenings and employment verification
- Applicants currently participating in or who have completed the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Return-to-Duty process are not eligible for this position
