Dental Partners Owensboro is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Hygienist to support high-quality patient care in a collaborative practice environment. The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical experience, is well-organized with strong attention to detail, and helps create an efficient, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every patient.
- Provide comprehensive preventive care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education on oral hygiene and home care.
- Effectively communicate clinical findings and recommendations to the doctor and clearly explain treatment needs to patients.
- Accurately enter and maintain digital documentation for each patient visit, including charting, x-rays, and periodontal records.
- Review existing treatment plans, confirm scheduled treatment, and support case acceptance through clear communication.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness and readiness of operatories, instruments, and equipment.
- Current, active state license to practice dental hygiene (RDH) in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency with digital charting systems and digital radiography/x-ray equipment.
- Solid knowledge of periodontal disease, periodontal therapy, and current hygiene best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a patient-focused, team-first mindset.
