JOB PURPOSE: The IT Support Technician supports the daily operation, maintenance, and enhancement of Campco Federal Credit Union's technology environment. This position is responsible for promptly responding to and resolving staff IT support requests while assisting with the administration of servers, networks, software deployments, system updates, and technology projects. Working under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Technician helps ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support the credit union's operations, strategic goals, and commitment to serving its members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assess and respond to all incoming ticket requests from staff and management.
2. Assist the staff with troubleshooting various hardware issues, such as keyboards, mice, monitors, scanners, and printers.
3. Assist with moving and installing IT equipment to different offices and cubicles. This includes mounting hardware and monitors, and good cable management.
4. Assist staff by unlocking accounts and resetting passwords when they are locked out.
5. Troubleshoot software issues. This includes Microsoft Office, Teams, vendor software, and core software.
6. Troubleshoot and maintain the printer environment.
7. Work with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
8. Document and take notes of work done through the ticketing system or knowledge base.
9. Train staff on the use of IT devices and software when need arises.
10. Troubleshoot, manage, and maintain VOIP software and environment.
11. Be able to troubleshoot and work on IT devices that are unique to the financial world.
12. Work with the IT Manager on designated projects. There will be team projects and solo projects assigned.
13. Be able to travel to the different branch offices and areas in the region. Company cars are provided.
14. Be available for after-hours work and on-call work as needed.
15. Soft skills and good communication are required for working with staff and vendors.
16. Adhere to and uphold cybersecurity best practices.
17. Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC.

Experience, Competencies and Education
Associate degree: or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Information Technology preferred
Two to three years of experience in IT, Networking, or related fields
Help Desk or Managed Service Provider experience
Data Cabling and Networking a plus
Project Management experience
Certifications (not required but preferred)
CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+
Any Entry Level Microsoft certifications

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
