Job Overview
Looking to hire a full time General Dentistry Dental Assistant in the Chelsea area in NYC. Experience preferred but willing to train. Salary starting at 23 dollars/hr, but commensurate with experience. Salary includes medical benefits, profit share retirement benefits.
Duties
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans and medical imaging
- Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding
- Support administrative tasks by acting as a dental receptionist—scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
