Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve a polished appearance
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and operating janitorial equipment effectively
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Support housekeeping management with inventory control and room inspection procedures to uphold quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as polishing and carpet extraction is preferred
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience demonstrates versatility and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety practices, and proper equipment use ensures efficient operations
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising teams is a plus but not required
