The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily pick-up and shipment schedules for outlet branches and completing data entry on all internal transfers processed out of the Salinas and Annex locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn and maintain a comprehensive understanding of company inventory control procedures.
- Pull and package daily hot-list pulls and weekly stock-lists for outlet branches.
- Coordinate daily pick-up and shipment schedules for outlet branches.
- Complete data entry on all internal transfers processed out of the Salinas and Annex locations.
- Unload incoming shipments and inspect shipments for damage. Safely transport shipments to Annex building. Document all shipment damage on carrier B/L
- Receive Annex incoming products and verify the quality and count of all items against vendor packing lists.
- Process receipt paperwork to accounting for data entry. Report all shipment variances with vendors promptly.
- Complete put-away on all Annex incoming shipments in an organized method.
- Research inventory variances and fill out adjustment requests for adjustment corrections.
- Interact with customers in the store to address inquiries and provide good customer service .
- Assist with cycle counts and provide support on physical inventories.
- Ensure stocked items are well-organized and can be easily retrieved by customers in stock locations.
- Review open Annex PO report and call on past due shipments and update PO's with new arrival dates on back ordered products.
- Assist with assembly of displays/shelving fixtures by following instructions from project leader.
- Maintain inventory records and store cleanliness and appearance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping department, store, and outside yard.
Minimum Education & Experience Equivalent to:
- Must be available to work flexible schedule including overtime if needed.
- Solid time management, attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to prioritize tasks.
- Fork-lift experience is highly desirable but not required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.90 - $21.00 per hour
