Job Title: Steel Erector / Structural Fitter (Hiring for Mongolia – Visa & Housing Provided)
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Steel Erector / Structural Fitter to join our dynamic construction team in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing steel frameworks and structural components on various construction sites.
Note: We provide full visa support, work permits, and accommodation for qualified international candidates.
Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble steel structures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble steel components.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding to join metal parts securely according to industry standards.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, and other lifting equipment safely to position heavy steel sections during installation.
- Conduct measurements using calipers and micrometers to ensure precise fitting of structural elements.
- Read schematics and mechanical drawings for pipe threading, ductwork installation, and assembly of complex structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to international safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a strong background in steel erection or structural fitting.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick); certifications are highly valued.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting and positioning heavy steel components safely.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication machinery.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to structural fabrication.
- Ability to work at heights using fall protection equipment safely.
- Must hold a valid passport and be ready to relocate to Mongolia.
