Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate (1st shift 5:00 am—2:00 pm) position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing food service products within the warehouse and for ensuring all job functions are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:
- Abilities to work in the freezer at zero degrees.
- Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed, and/or shipped.
- Picks customer orders for shipping.
- Verifies and ensures the accuracy of orders for delivery.
- Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience
- At least one year of previous experience in warehouse environments.
- Working knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a food distribution environment.
- Reach truck experience.
- Strong attendance record
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in an office environment and lift up to 75 pounds.
