Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical best practices.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery.
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques, home exercises, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation.
- Manage discharge planning processes by assessing readiness for transition to home or community care settings while ensuring continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working in outpatient clinics or outpatient rehabilitation centers with a strong focus on patient care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics to tailor effective treatment strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation standards necessary for accurate record keeping.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and home health patients.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams across inpatient and outpatient settings while maintaining excellent client communication skills.
- Prior exposure to inpatient hospital environments or inpatient experience is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
