We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical codes, troubleshooting, installation, and project supervision. This position is responsible for ensuring electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate repairs or solutions.
- Supervise and direct electricians, apprentices, and electrical helpers as needed.
- Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC, local, and state code requirements.
- Obtain and maintain required permits and coordinate inspections when applicable.
- Perform electrical panel, wiring, lighting, controls, and equipment installations.
- Conduct electrical testing and verify systems are operating safely and properly.
- Estimate materials, labor, and project requirements when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, inspectors, and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Respond to service calls and emergency electrical issues when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, preferably with supervisory or lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local/state electrical codes.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and professional.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
