Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of pizza options
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout shifts
- Support food preparation activities such as chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and uphold high standards of food quality
Experience
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments, including food safety protocols and food handling practices
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous
- Previous fine dining or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
