Job Overview
As a Frozen Yogurt Shop Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the quality and freshness of our products. You will be responsible for filling soft-serve yogurt machines, cleaning machines, preparing toppings, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting customers with checkout and anything else needed. Your culinary experience and knowledge of food safety will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and display dairy products in an appealing manner to attract customers.
- Operate Toast POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist in refilling machines, rotating products, and managing inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout, including cleaning and sanitizing the whole shop including kitchen area and bathroom..
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.
Requirements
- Previous experience not required
- Strong work ethic, time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
- Common sense knowledge of food handling practices and food safety.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use the TOAST POS to ring out customers (we will train you on all this).
