Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment for all students, including those with special needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other necessary documentation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom through proper caregiving practices and first aid knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood setting is essential. **Montessori preferred**

- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 35 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors. Must be able to sit on the floor and get up off the floor to allow physical and visual contact with children.
