About Us:
Woofie’s of St. Petersburg provides a premium experience for clients needing dependable dog walking and in-home pet care tailored to each client’s needs.
Role Overview:
We’re looking reliable Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters to provide safe walks, exercise, and attentive care for pets in their homes. We only take 1 pet family per sitter, you will not take multiple pet families at once.
We currently only need dog walkers with availability Monday-Friday 11:30am-2pm.
We currently need sitters who can provide overnights in your home primarily (24 hours at a time continuously) and/or occassionally in a client's home Thursday-Monday's from 7am-7pm. if you can do a mid-day drop in walk with the same client that would be ideal, if not we can have another sitter do the mid-day drop in.
**Would love homes with no pets or only 1 pet who gets along well with all other pets
Requirements:
- Genuine comfort working with animals of all sizes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule availability-see needs above for what we have open
- Ability to manage multiple pets and follow detailed care instructions
- Experience with medication administration
- Understands animal behavior and commands well
- Technical skills to use our app for detailed client visit notes
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication skills with clients and our Woofies team, need quick response times via phone and text
- Ideally targeting vet techs or assistants or those with a strong background working in kennels or boarding facilities or animal shelters
What we offer:
· –Flexible to work around your schedule/needs! This is part time, as needed position as we have clients in your area that match your availability, so you have to be flexible.
· – A full back-of-house team managing schedules, routes, and more. Just bring your amazing attitude and pet skills, we have the rest!
· Looking for dedicated brand ambassadors who want to do monthly marketing events in our community to attract new clients and build relationships.
· W-2 position, with full liability insurance for our employees. No tax bill surprises working for other 1099 apps or companies.
