The Bulk Route Merchandiser is responsible for the proper merchandising of the key chain accounts and other accounts as assigned by management.
REPORTS TO: Merchandising Supervisor, Merchandising Manager, Off-Premise Sales Manager and General Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock, rotate, and merchandise all LBI products in coolers, shelves, and displays

Build and maintain eye-catching displays using proper P.O.S. materials
-
Ensure accurate pricing and signage across all products
-
Communicate with account managers and sales reps for daily instructions

Keep backstock organized and remove trash and empty materials
-
Bring all the empty N/A shelves and pallets back to the warehouse.

Report on issues such as out-of-stocks, overages, or pricing errors
Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age
-
Valid NC driver’s license, must be licensed for at least 5 years
-
Able to lift 25–50 lbs. repetitively and walk throughout the day
-
Strong work ethic, customer service focus, and positive attitude
-
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and performance evaluation

Familiarity with Long Beverage standards and products is a plus

SPECIFIC:
Positions require positive customer service, the ability to merchandise coolers, stock shelves, rotate product, build displays, and do continuous lifting and walking. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs., repetitively. Bulk Merchandisers must have a valid NC Driver’s license and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. All applicants must be 21 years of age. Must submit to a criminal background check and pass pre-employment drug screen. Performance testing required.
Report to work at correct time each day with proper uniform and have a positive attitude.

Ensure you follow your daily routing by order of sequence. Prior to leaving warehouse, check in with manager of any additional duties for the day.

Communicate with sales rep of each account of any special instructions.

The Bulk Merchandiser should work the accounts in the same order of delivery unless ordered by management to change the order.

Upon arrival at the account the Bulk Merchandiser should greet the manager of the account and inform him/her that he/she is there to work the account, asking him for any special instructions.

To fully and completely service the account, you are to: rotate stock, build necessary displays, work all visa coolers and completely fill all shelves that contain LBI products. This is to include back stock and products from delivery.

The cooler should be worked completely and correctly. Fill and maintain all N/A space shelves and cooler. Keep N/A shelves and section clean. Bring all empty N/A shelves and pallets back to warehouse.

Upon each visit rotate all product as described by supplier guidelines

Face all products

Put up signs as instructed

Assure correct pricing and price tags are placed

Build displays where needed using the proper P.O.S.

Rotate all product to ensure fresh products for all suppliers.
-
Remove all trash and be sure back stock is correctly stored.
-
Report any errors in the sales order (out of stocks and over stocks to salesman).

Report any errors in pricing of products with special emphasis on promotional items.

Immediately inform management of any failures to follow company policies.
-
Maintain a supply of proper P.O.S. and tape, markers, etc.

Always conduct yourself in a businesslike manner.

Responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of company equipment. The vehicle assigned to you must be kept clean inside and out. You are to follow all state regulations and laws.

Inform management of any competitive activities.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
