Job Overview
VolLand Solutions Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are based in Liberty TN however this role allows for remote work with trips into the field to evaluate jobs. In this role, you will lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure designs, construction management, and technical solutions. Duties
- Manage and oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction.
- Develop detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and CAD drafting tools to produce accurate schematics, plans, and technical drawings.
- Conduct hydrological modeling and stormwater management analyses using tools like SWMM, HEC-HMS, Hydrologic analysis tools, and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and Land Surveying software.
- Perform construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, safety compliance, and construction inspection to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports covering design engineering aspects, hydrologic analysis results, geotechnical evaluations, and system design documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies during permitting phases and throughout project execution to facilitate smooth project progression.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling and construction estimating to plan resources effectively.
- Expertise in civil infrastructure design including bridges, stormwater systems, water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and hydraulics systems.
- Skilled in using technical engineering software such as Mathcad, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, GIS tools for hydrological modeling and system design.
- Experience managing projects within an engineering role with a focus on civil engineering principles and construction management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through schematics development, technical writing of reports, drafting tasks, and project engineering responsibilities.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering concepts and land surveying techniques relevant to civil infrastructure projects.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and professionally.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
