Are you seeking employment with daytime hours? UW Oshkosh Head Start is hiring Center Aides for our Oshkosh locations for the 2026-2027 school year. Center Aides collaborate with full-time teachers and teacher assistants to support 16-18 children's school readiness. Center Aides will also assist with center responsibilities to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
SIGN ON BONUS INCLUDED:
Applicants hired into this position will receive a $250.00 to$500.00 bonus after 90 days of work.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency (proof of education required)
- Successful completion of criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Desire and ability to work effectively with young children
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Program will support meeting minimum education requirement per licensing within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with preschool age children
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
