Ronpak, a National Manufacturer of paper bags is seeking knowledgeable and dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our team at our new office annex in Dallas, TX.
The Customer Service Specialists support and daily operation of the Customer Service function. Responsible for performing an active role within the team as well as assisting and supporting the business unit. This includes working with the Sales group in evaluating customer needs and ensuring that all needs are met according to customer standards. The Customer Service Specialist will meet and surpass customer needs active approach and strategic thinking will make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the overall effectiveness and efficiency of assigned customer accounts.
- Ensures that customer inquiries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Assists in processing customer specifications by following the Sales and Operations Policies and Procedure Manual.
- Works closely with supply chain to meet customer expectations and timely delivery of all products.
- Supports Sales staff in each step of the customer relationship, from acquisition to evaluation, retention, preparation of reports, spreadsheets and other analysis that may be required.
- Works closely with accounting to ensure claims are processed timely.
- Engaged in troubleshooting customer complaints and sales issues while taking initiative in developing a workable solution to resolve ongoing challenges.
- Assists Sales and Finance in the establishment of credit with new and existing customers.
- Creates a collaborative and positive atmosphere of productivity while emphasizing the urgency to meet customer needs.
- Assists in establishing and documenting best client services practices.
- Collaborate with Sales and customer contacts to develop monthly forecast.
- Assists with documenting and reporting issues related to Food Packaging Safety or Quality.
- Central support unit for all departments to ensure the Cycle of Service is completed.
- Performs other duties or assignments assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 Years’ transferable work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications relative or transferable to the manufacturing industry.
- Computer experience with general accounting and/or ERP software programs desired.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organization, analytical, negotiation, problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- Excellent written skills.
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with others including members of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet customer expectations.
- PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and with Microsoft Suite software systems.
