Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Bar Manager/Admin Support to lead our beverage operations and provide essential administrative assistance within our vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards in food and beverage presentation
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
- Supervise and train staff on cocktail mixing, POS systems (Jonas POS), and customer service best practices
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, maintaining records, and supporting staff training & development initiatives
- Collaborate with management on promotional activities to enhance guest experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within a fine dining restaurant environment, with a focus on bar operations
- Strong knowledge of POS systems ; experience with cash handling and financial reconciliation
- Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings; capable of training & developing team members
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Experience managing inventory control, shift management, and restaurant operations in a hospitality setting
- Background in catering or banquet services is a plus
