Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning counters, and disposing of waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash registers or Aloha POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or special functions to ensure seamless service.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and new products to enhance guest experiences.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of the food industry and restaurant operations is essential.
- Proficient in cash handling with strong math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high service standards.
- A passion for mixology and willingness to learn about new drinks and techniques is highly desirable.
