Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and display cases

Diagnose system issues such as temperature inconsistencies, refrigerant leaks, and compressor failures

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

Monitor and adjust system controls to ensure proper temperature and energy efficiency

Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA and environmental regulations

Respond promptly to refrigeration emergencies to prevent product loss

Install and replace refrigeration components including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and valves

Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and food safety regulations

Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for major repairs or installations

Assist with related mechanical or HVAC tasks as needed

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience preferred

Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and diagnostics

Experience with HVAC systems is a plus

Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
