Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to work directly with a trial attorney handling a docket of approximately 25 complex catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, enjoys digging into medical records and damages, and takes pride in helping build high-value cases from intake through trial.
The ideal candidate is proactive, sharp, dependable, and capable of managing significant responsibility with minimal supervision. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand and organize complex medical treatment are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a docket of approximately 25 active litigation files
- Organize, summarize, and analyze extensive medical records and billing
- Coordinate medical treatment records, imaging, billing affidavits, and lien information
- Assist in developing damages evidence and case timelines
- Draft and proofread pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and litigation-related documents
- Prepare discovery responses, exhibits, deposition materials, and trial binders
- Coordinate experts, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial settings
- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel
- Assist attorney with trial preparation and litigation strategy
- Maintain case deadlines and ensure files are moving proactively toward resolution or trial
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal experience in personal injury litigation strongly preferred
- Experience handling complex or high-value injury cases preferred
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, and court deadlines
- Ability to review and understand medical records, treatment histories, and injuries
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
- Professional demeanor and strong client communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Trial preparation experience preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
