Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene and safety.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care.
- Clean floors using various techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care to restore their shine and durability.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and operate cleaning equipment effectively for optimal results.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the cleaning service provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Prior hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
