Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL A Ready Mix Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with at least six months of ready mix concrete experience who are eager to operate heavy construction equipment and deliver high-quality materials to construction sites.
-REQUIRES 1 YEAR OF READY MIXER EXPERIENCE(NO EXCEPTIONS)
-Monday - Saturday
-shifts start at 3am
-shifts last from 10-12 hours daily
-driver will deliver concrete to residential and commercial job sites
-Pay rates are as follows –
0-3 years verifiable ready mix experience - $21/Hr
3-5 $22
5+ $25
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment required for delivery and site support
- Deliver ready mix concrete to various construction sites efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders, excavators, or other machinery as needed on-site
- Support construction activities such as concrete forming, rebar installation, paving, concrete pumping, and finishing tasks when required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Operate additional construction equipment like excavators or loaders when necessary to support project needs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of six months of ready mix concrete delivery experience or related heavy equipment operation in a construction environment
- Knowledge of concrete mixer operation, paving techniques, concrete pumping, and finishing processes
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Experience working on construction sites including familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, excavation equipment, and site safety procedures
- Ability to operate loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and other heavy machinery confidently and safely
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle regulations and safety standards in the construction industry
