Workers' Compensation Defense Firm in Downtown Miami seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant
The Ideal Candidate:
(1) Has at least two years experience working on Workers' Compensation, Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, Civil Litigation defense matters
(2) Has some experience with case management software such as Trial Works, Client Profiles, etc.
(3) Is effective while multitasking
(4) Is able to independently prioritize tasks
(5) Is well spoken
(6) Is able to effectively and clearly communicate via email
(7) Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Primary job responsibilities will include:
(1) Scheduling depositions and mediations
(2) Coordinating events with clients, corporate representatives, and witnesses
(3) Filing documents with DOAH/JCC
(4) Calendaring deadlines
(5) Drafting correspondence to clients and corporate representatives
(6) Drafting Discovery related documents
Full-Time position with benefits.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
