Position Description:
The Quality Control Inspector’s Mission is to provide oversight and support to all jobs currently in production to ensure that each job is completed on-time, on-budget, and according to Customer expectations. The Quality Control Inspector (QC) does this by maintaining timely and accurate communication with Customers, Vendors, and Contractors externally, and with Production and Sales internally.

Position Responsibilities:
The QC position comes with the following responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Production Manager (PM).
- Show up to job the day after job is complete to do an inspection and get any extra materials picked up/returned.
- Verify that the proper materials were delivered to the job site.
- Verify that the dumpster or dump trailer is in the correct location.
- Field inspect all jobs/trades at the beginning and end of each project to go over any special requests or concerns.
- Make mid-trade inspections to make sure that trade(s) are going as instructed, and writes charge/hold slips against subs.
- Report problem repair issues found in the field to PM.
- Make minor repairs/adjustments on site as needed and qualified.
- Manage crews in field and reports any concerns to PM both verbally and with a charge/hold slip.
- Meet with the homeowner at completion of each trade to do a "walk through.''
- Ensure that exposed roofs are protected.
- Ladder assists Sales Reps when possible.
- Complete punch out items on jobs and repairs.
- Verify that the salesman's measurements are accurate.
- Report all findings back to PM.
- Must be on call to handle emergencies.
- Will have to occasionally work later days and some Saturdays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
