Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Server, Host, & Wait Assistant and become a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, manages reservations, and ensures smooth service throughout their visit. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or similar platforms
- Handle restaurant reservation management with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring all bookings are properly recorded and confirmed
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, supporting smooth table service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests with positive attitude and clear communication
- Manage phone communication with guests for reservations, inquiries, or follow-up, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Support the front-of-house team in organizing seating charts and coordinating guest flow to optimize restaurant operations
- Follow food safety standards and uphold cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems like Aloha POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, billing, and order processing accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe dining experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and high energy level
