We manufacture all our equipment in one location, at our facility in Walker, Michigan.
About the Role:
BW Manufacturing is excited to welcome a skilled Welder to our growing team. As we continue to experience rapid growth, we’re looking for a dedicated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Here’s what you’d be doing day-to-day:
Responsibilities
- Welding Skills: MIG & TIG Welding
- Fabrication Skills: Breakpress (Accupress), CNC Horizontal Band Saw, Small Roll Former, Hydraulic Tube Bender (will train as needed)
- Blueprints: Demonstrate the ability to properly interpret blueprints and work instructions
Here’s what you’ll bring
- At least 3 years’ experience in MIG welding and/or machine fabrication
- 10ga. to ¾" material
- Craftsmanship: You take pride in your work and being the best, and it shows
- Quality: You make sure your equipment can handle whatever our customers throw at it
- Team: You value punctuality, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to innovation and continual improvement
- Safety: Demonstrate the proper knowledge to safely perform all facets of the welder and associated tools.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8AM to 4:30PM
Physical Requirements:
You must be willing and able to stand for extended periods and to occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
