Activities Assistant/Smoking Aide
Hours 8a-4p and every other weekend
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant/Smoking Aide to join our team at Aviata at Evans in Fort Myers, Florida. As an Activities Assistant/Smoking Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and recreational services to our residents. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activities profiles
Plan and execute recreational activities, such as movies, parties, and games, to engage our residents
Encourage resident participation in social activities and events
Collaborate with the Community Life Director to expand services and develop new ideas
Provide innovative and responsible healthcare solutions to continually improve systems and processes
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Some experience in providing recreation services to residents in a healthcare setting preferred
Current, unencumbered valid state driver's license required
Must be compassionate, dedicated, and qualified for the position
