What You'll Do
- Greet and check patients in and out with professionalism and compassion
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and patient demographics
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
- Collect co-pays and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Perform general front office and administrative duties
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of recent experience working at the front desk in a medical office, physician practice, specialty clinic, urgent care, or hospital outpatient setting
- Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy healthcare environment
- Experience with Epic or another electronic medical record system preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
