Primary function is to act as liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs.
Responsibilities include development and promotion of home health programs and services, while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality healthcare and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources.
Education: Graduate of an accredited college/university, preferred.
Experience: Experience in the healthcare field.
Skills: The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the administrator and alternate administrator, marketing director, all segments of the staff, clients, and the lay and professional public.
Provides counsel to the Agency regarding needs of the community and program development. Facilities communication for new contracts with community partners by coordinating and presenting to the administrator for approval.
Assists with developing and maintaining plans specific to marketing/community programs.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state, and federal laws relating to marketing of the agency.
Assists in the promotion of programs through collaboration with administrative and supervisory personnel.
Receives, processes, and tracks referrals for attendant services.
Establishes a public relations program for interpretation of the Agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
Carries out other duties as assigned by the Administrator and Alternate Administrator
