CNC Lathe Machinist

Pay: $27-$31 DOE and Job
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Position Summary
TMD Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a manufacturing client in Cedar Park. This role requires the ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathes while maintaining high quality and production standards in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
Requirements

3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience

Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills

Ability to perform machine setups, offsets, and basic program edits

Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Mazak experience preferred
-
ROMI experience is a plus

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes

Perform first article and in-process inspections

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments

Verify part quality and maintain production standards

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift

Lift up to 40 lbs.

Work safely in a manufacturing environment
