Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including powertrain systems, engines, electrical components, and vehicle systems.
- Use advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Repair or replace engine components, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and safety inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts or equipment as needed to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining professional communication throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicles, especially GM or similar brands.
- Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines and performing heavy mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work with automotive repair manuals, schematics, and electronic diagnostic systems confidently.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent manual dexterity for precise repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Commitment to safety standards including heavy lifting protocols and manual handling procedures while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
