Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for recipes
- Assist with meal service, including plating and presentation
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
