Job Summary
In this role, you serve as a representative of Wellesley Country Club staff, an integral role in the overall Member Experience in the Golf Shop. Members of the Retail Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service to our Membership and their Guests. Retail Team Members must be positive, attentive, and learn to anticipate the needs of the members. We are seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to help manage and perform the daily functions associated with our Golf Shop and Membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Retail with day-to-day execution of the Retail Operation
- Assist the Golf Professionals with Member and Guest events
- Conduct and reconcile inventory
- Interact with Members and Guests in a positive and helpful manner
- Maintain the Golf Shop floor
o Apparel should be folded tight and stacked properly
o All tags tucked/not visible
o Apparel on hangers should be steamed, neat and in size order
o Floor should be clean and free of debris at all times
o Fixtures should be clean and neat
- Customer Service
o Greet Members and Guests within moments of entering the Golf Shop with a smile
o Shop telephone should be answered professionally within two to three rings with a smile
o Offer your services by pointing out new merchandise, ask how you can assist, etc.
Be aware of all current promotions and sales
Qualifications:
- Knowledge ofJonas POS Software
- Basic computer knowledge – Excel, Word, Canva, etc
- Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and tasks
- Must be highly service-focused with desire to engage with members and guests
- Demonstrated initiative – ability to work and maintain the Shop in a busy atmosphere
- High work standards – attention to detail, accuracy, ability to listen, and timeliness
Additional Requirements:
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests and team members
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, etc
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and focused at the busiest times

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
