This position is responsible for:
Serving as a liaison between business units and technology teams to define processes, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement new functionality. This individual must apply creative thinking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of our existing IT system investments. The key focus is to drive improvements in our business processes via technology while serving as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT. This position will document stakeholder requirements, measure/monitor process efficiency, and develop and manage projects. They will provide input on product direction for mission-critical Southern Territory applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Serves as technical lead on assigned IT projects; plans and manages personal workload to effectively meet the goals established for assigned projects; serves as a technical resource to other IT staff involved or associated with the project; reports progress to supervisor routinely and notifies supervisor of barriers in accomplishing goals in a timely manner.
Gathers, reviews, and analyzes business and industry data using data analytics tools, including KPIs, financial reports, and other key metrics, as well as visual reporting artifacts that support operational and leadership decision-making.

Collaborates with subject matter experts and technical teams in the planning, design, and development of new information system solutions.

Leads discovery sessions to identify opportunities that delight the customer and enhance operational effectiveness in a meaningful way.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Limited physical effort is required for walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 30 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a normal office environment with little or no physical discomfort from weather changes or from noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, AND
Ten years of experience performing business analyst skills to work independently and serve as lead analyst. Knowledge of Salvation Army business practices is preferred. OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications
One or more relevant certifications are preferred upon hire.
