WHAT YOU WILL DO
A competent Residential Care Coordinator for the Epic Recovery/Withdrawal Management unit provides inpatient Care Coordination services to address the basic support needs of the individuals in recovery moving through our program to go back into society and coordinate the therapeutic aspects of services provided. Duties include assessing, monitoring, linking and advocating for individuals. Must be able to multi-task and complete documentation according to required timelines. Should be knowledgeable of community resources for discharges and aftercare. . Must be able to work with individuals who have substance use disorders and mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders. You should have experience facilitating groups, up to 4/day. Please be reliable and an excellent team player. It is a necessity to have knowledge of and apply recovery-based principles and practices in service delivery that includes addressing and documenting the client’s strengths, needs, abilities, barriers and preferences. Position has productivity requirements. Come with your experience on helping clients get insurance, housing, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- A Bachelor’s degree or master’s in psychology, social work, criminal justice or some other related field.
- Experience in assessments, behavioral management, and or case management experience required.
- Level 2 background check/drug screen required. {https://info.flclearinghouse.com}
- Florida driver’s license; must be able to be insured with our carrier.
