Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- Proven experience working in an EP Lab setting, with strong knowledge of EP studies, ablations, device implants, and related procedures.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively monitor patients, recognize arrhythmias, and respond to emergent situations.
- Adept with EP Lab equipment, technology, and cardiac monitoring systems.
- Previous experience with documentation and patient assessment in a cardiac-focused clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, ensuring accurate assessment and safety at every stage.
- Assist physicians during EP studies and device implantations, providing technical and clinical support as needed.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to complications efficiently.
- Maintain a sterile environment and proper functioning of the EP Lab through meticulous preparation and post-procedure clean-up.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, high-quality cardiac care.
