Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable Production & Shipping Helpers to support daily manufacturing, packaging, and outbound shipping operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves assisting with production line flow, packaging, and preparing products for shipment. Helpers will work alongside automated equipment and production teams to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the facility.
Shift Schedule:
Shift Schedules vary department on department and work area.
Production Helpers:12 Hour shifts, with start times ranging from 5am-6:30pm/5pm-6:30pm
Shipping Helpers: 8 Hour shifts, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with production line operations, including monitoring conveyors to prevent backups or product waste
- Support packaging processes to maintain consistent product flow and spacing
- Organize, stage, and prepare packaged products for shipment to delivery locations
- Apply labels and prepare orders for truck loading, ensuring accuracy and proper tracking
- Operate material handling equipment, such as dollies and pallet jacks, when moving stacked products
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in both production and shipping areas
- Observe automated equipment operations and report any issues to leads or supervisors
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable handling products and materials that may be stacked above head height
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing and warehouse environment
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or shipping experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to work around automated machinery and conveyor systems
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced manufacturing or distribution facility with frequent material movement
- Interaction with automated production lines and use of material handling equipment
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
